Standalone touchscreens
Wired directly to a Gotek over USB; hold the library on their own SD card. The JC3248 is the full-feature reference; the others trade a feature or two for a different screen.

1 The 7″ uses a grid view rather than the cover-flow reel (hence the “GRID” build name).
2 The 7-inch build carries the six languages; the 7B build omits them.
3 JC4827 serves the web panel but not the file browser — that’s gated on GTI_WEB_SD_FILES, defined only on the JC3248.
4 The 7″ can FLING over ESP-NOW but has no home-WiFi mode.
5 The P4 has no native radio — WiFi runs through an on-board ESP32-C6 co-processor (self-updated from the SD card).
Wireless feeder dongles
Plug into a Gotek on another machine and present a disk that’s flung to them from a touchscreen. The current firmware is the Webby (HD) edition — the older classic DD-only SuperMini build is retired. The ESP32-S3-Zero runs the SuperMini Webby image; the XIAO also has an older HD “classic” build.

1 The classic DD-only SuperMini firmware (1 MB RAM disk) is retired — the SuperMini now runs the Webby (HD, 1.75 MB) image, as does the Zero. The XIAO (8 MB) is HD on both its firmwares. 2 The SuperMini/Zero Webby build drives a WS2812 RGB pixel (dim green idle, blue loaded, magenta on receive, amber busy, red fault); the XIAO drives discrete red/blue LEDs.
Not a separate firmware — the Zero runs the SuperMini Webby image unchanged, so its column is “SuperMini · Zero.” Its one difference is the LED: a single WS2812 RGB on GPIO21 instead of two discrete LEDs.
Per-device summary
JC3248
5.9.23The flagship. Every feature, and the only board with browser-based WiFi SD file access.
JC4827
5.9.8The JC3248’s bigger sibling — identical bar one thing: web panel yes, in-browser SD file access no.
ESP32-P4
5.9.7 · betaBigger, faster panel; full library + HD + flinging via a C6 co-processor. Beta, not on the public flasher.
